Bernice Chauly is a Malaysian novelist, poet, educator, and former festival director. She is now writing the AAA, open world game Contraband, set in 1970s South East Asia, currently in development with Xbox and Avalanche Studios.

Salil Tripathi was born in Bombay and has lived in Singapore, Hong Kong, London, and now New York. He is the author of three works of non-fiction. His next book is about the Gujaratis. He is on the board of PEN International and the Editorial Board of Singapore Unbound.
