Joy is an artist and writer in Los Angeles. Her stories and essays have appeared in ellipse, Nashville Review, Evergreen Review, Rusted Radishes, and Arab Urbanism Magazine. She has exhibited her paintings at the Whitney Museum, MoMA–PS1, FLAG Art Foundation, Milwaukee Art Museum, National Academy of Sciences (Washington, DC), and the Witte Zaal (Ghent, Belgium).
